ART-106 Sculpture I (4)
An introduction to three-dimensional art using traditional sculpture techniques, terra-cotta and plaster. Modeling, casting and carving in a variety of mediums. Introduction to wheel and pinch pottery.   Four semester hours. Art Materials fee.

ART-203. Special Topics in Studio Art:  Printmaking (4)
This course provides an introduction to elements of printmaking. Topics will include Lithography, Etching, and Wood Cut. The students will learn how to print through historical and contemporary printmaking techniques as well as through practical exercises. Four semester hours. 

ART-204. The Art of Photography (4)
To explore the expressive qualities of black & white photography as an art form, the student will learn the use of the camera and basic darkroom techniques. The student will learn how to see photographically through a study of contemporary and historical photography, as well as through practical exercises. Open to all students. Students must have access to a camera: a 35 mm manual camera is preferred, but a point and shoot that takes 35mm film is also acceptable.  Enrollment is limited to 12. Lab fee $50.00.
