PARKING GUIDELINES
 >> News & Info Sessions > Announcements

This notice is in reference to all policies concerning parking at Ursinus College.  Due to the exciting new construction on campus, the parking situation has changed a bit since last semester.  The Physical Plant staff has worked hard to ensure that there is ample parking for the entire campus community.  While these parking areas may not be as convenient to your building be assured that there are more than enough parking spaces to accommodate the number of cars on campus.

Please read the following guidelines and contact Campus Safety (x2737) if you have any questions.

    1. All cars must be parked on paved or conditioned surfaces i.e. macadam/blacktop/stone.
    2. No parking on grass, dirt, or in between trees.
    3. Every car parked on campus must be registered with the Campus Safety Office.  One sticker does not apply to every car in the family.  Stickers are not transferable to other household cars.  Evening Faculty & Staff may register their cars at The Center Office.
    4. All visitors to campus must register their cars in the Campus Safety Office located in Wismer Hall. A temporary permit will be issued for the length of stay involving the car/visitor while on campus.  This pertains to visitors who are on campus for more than three (3) hours and who park outside of the Corson Visitors lot.
    5. Parking stickers must be displayed on the driver side of the car in either the rear window or rear bumper.
    6. Parking areas are designated with the following color-coded guidelines:

    7.  Vehicles will be towed immediately if they are blocking parking lots, fire lanes, loading docks, or are parked in handicapped spaces without handicapped tags or badges.

All vehicles parked on campus outside of the above designated areas will be ticketed.  Individuals with five (5) or more violations will be subject to disciplinary action which may include, but is not limited to: a boot being placed on the vehicle, revocation of parking privileges or other judicial sanctioning.

Tickets will be issued for the following violations:

We appreciate your cooperation.  Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
